Diest, June 2026 – Harol has once again received international recognition by receiving two Red Dot Design Awards 2026. Both the Versuz Linea and the new Coolina under-glass awning have been awarded the prestigious Red Dot label, an international mark of quality for products that excel in design, innovation, and user experience. The awards are conferred by an international jury of design experts, and are among the most coveted design accolades in the world.

With this double honour, Harol has cemented its strong international reputation for design. Earlier this year, the company had also received several other awards, including a German Design Award and the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026.

Versuz Linea: award-winning design that continues to impress

The Versuz Linea, Harol’s minimalist horizontal pergola, further builds on an impressive series of international design awards with the Red Dot Award 2026. The Red Dot Award is the icing on the cake. With its fully horizontal retractable fabric, this pergola is particularly suitable for low-rise buildings, extensions with limited installation space, and contemporary architecture. Slim profiles, a perfectly tensioned fabric, and the reliable Harol ZIP system ensure a maximum shade area of up to 25 m², creating the perfect balance between light, shade, and comfort. The optional Vario Volant Solar, subtly integrated into the extension pole, provides additional protection against low-lying sun while offering increased privacy. Thanks to its fully solar-powered operation, no additional wiring is required.

Coolina: smart innovation with timeless design

The Coolina under-glass awning, one of Harol’s most recent innovations, has been honoured with a Red Dot Award 2026. With Coolina, the fabric is installed directly beneath the glass, providing optimal protection against rain and wind. This results in a longer service life and reduced maintenance, making Coolina a sustainable solution for verandas, roof lights, and terrace awnings. The reliable Harol ZIP system keeps the fabric perfectly taut, even on large surfaces of up to 30 m².

In addition to its compact and timeless design, smart technical innovations are one of Coolina’s key strengths. For example, the patented ClickFit fabric fastening profile enables quick and efficient fabric replacement, without the need to dismantle the entire drop-arm base. On 7 July, the Harol team will proudly receive the prestigious Red Dot Awards 2026 during the official award ceremony. “This double Red Dot Award feels like the crowning achievement for our work. The fact that both the Versuz Linea and a recent innovation such as Coolina have received awards, highlights the strength of our design vision.
