Harol wins German Design Award 2025 with Coolscreen 8 LED

Diest, February 2025 – Last Friday, 7 February, Harol was in Frankfurt to receive the prestigious German Design Award 2025 for the innovative Coolscreen 8 LED. Having already won an Archiproducts Design and Sustainability Award and a Red Dot Design Award in 2023, the Coolscreen 8 LED has now been crowned with a German Design Award 2025 in the category Excellent Product Design – Gardening and Outdoor Living. With this fourth international design prize, Harol is again demonstrating that smart functionalities, innovative technology and great design can be united harmoniously.

Excellent Product Design

The German Design Award, that has been awarded since 2012, is one of the most prestigious international design prizes. Every year, an international jury of professionals assesses a diverse range of projects and products in the context of design and innovation, in various categories including product design and architecture. Within the category Excellent Product Design – Gardening and Outdoor Living, the jury selected the Coolscreen 8 LED from Harol as the winner. The innovative Coolscreen with integrated LED lighting made an impression due to its combination of minimalistic design with smart functionalities. The integrated LED lighting is not only visually appealing but also improves security around the building.
