Diest, 9 February 2026 – Last Friday in Frankfurt, sun protection expert Harol was awarded the prestigious German Design Award 2026 for its Versuz Linea pergola. In the category Excellent Product Design – Gardening and Outdoor Living, the international jury rewarded the pergola in recognition of its minimalist design, exceptional durability, and high level of user comfort. Once again, this award reaffirms Harol’s leading position in innovative and stylish outdoor living.
Since 2012, the German Design Award has been one of the most renowned international design awards, annually showcasing products and projects for their quality, innovation, and design excellence. In the category Excellent Product Design – Gardening and Outdoor Living, the Versuz Linea by Harol impressed the jury with its sleek lines, circular design, and functional sophistication. The pergola, with its horizontal fabric, combines refined aesthetics with natural cooling, and is ideally suited to contemporary architecture, low-rise buildings, and projects with limited installation space.

Versuz Linea is a horizontal, minimalist pergola that combines modern design with ultimate comfort for your terrace or outdoor space. Thanks to its horizontal wall-mounted installation and adjustable support posts, this pergola fits almost any terrace — even in low-build situations or where installation space is limited.
The solar protection fabric fully retracts into a compact, enclosed cassette, extending the lifespan of the fabric while maintaining a clean, streamlined appearance. Optionally, Versuz Linea can be equipped with the Variovolant Solar: a solar-powered, motorised valance that provides additional protection against low-angle sunlight and unwanted views.
